Pit Lessons

I had this great post going about lessons I'm learning while sprouting an avocado pit. It really has been fun. I've tried this a few times before but I guess I never waited long enough before. It's finally working! I was going to write about how the pit has to break open and the roots have to go down before it will sprout up and eventually bear fruit.

I was just reading online about how to plant these once they've sprouted and found out that these trees that you grow from a pit DO NOT produce fruit.
